F. Measure the Length of Carbon Brushes

Measure the length of both carbon
brushes with a caliber gauge.
Refer to Fig. 24 - 14.
minimum length 7 mm
If the brush length is less than 7 mm, replace
the Brush Holder ASSY.
G. Complete the Brush Holder

Press down the brushes with the metal
sheet and put the cover into the brush
holder.
Cover rib must hold the brushes down in
mounting position.
Refer to Fig. 24 - 15.

Make sure that the cover is in the correct
position.
Do not push the cover down to the end
position. Refer to Fig. 24 - 16 and Fig. 24 -
17.
