(d) Assemble the engine after timing chain and chain wheel replacement

(1)
Clean the sealing surfaces at the side cover
and the cylinder head.
(2)
Apply a line of sealant to the sealing surface
of the cylinder head.
(3)
Put the side cover in position onto the engine.
(4)
Tighten the five screws on the side cover.
Torque 12 Nm (106 inch-lbs)
(5)
Install the camshaft sensor housing.
Refer to Section 85-30-00 Paragraph
4.B.(i) Steps (3) thru (10).
(6)
Install the cylinder head cover.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 142 for screws
tightening sequences.
Torque 12 Nm (106 inch-lbs)

Install the turbocharger oil return line.
Refer to Section 79-20-00 Paragraph

Install the turbocharger oil supply line.
Refer to Section 79-20-00 Paragraph

To prevent incorrect installation, obey the injector numbers recorded during
the removal procedure.

Install the injectors.

Install the injector cover.

Record the data into the engine log.

Do an engine ground run.
