A. Remove the fuel rail

Remove the connectors (RPS), (PCV).
Refer to Fig. 73 - 20.

Remove the injector cover.
Refer to Section 85-10-00
Paragraph 3.A.

Loosen the flare nuts at the fuel rail.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 20.
(4)
Loosen the flare nuts at the injectors.
(5)
Remove the screws that attach the fuel rail on
the cylinder head.
(6)
Remove the fuel rail.
B. Install the fuel rail

(1)
Tighten the fuel rail.
Torque 16 Nm.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 20.
(2)
Tighten the screws that attach the fuel rail on
the cylinder head.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 20.
(3)
Install the fuel lines on the fuel rail.
(4)
Tighten the flare nuts at the fuel rail.
Torque 27 Nm.
(5)
Tighten the flare nuts at the injectors.
Torque 22 Nm.
(6)
Install the injector cover.
Refer to Section 85-10-00
Paragraph 3.B.
(7)
Install the connectors (RPS), (PCV).
Refer to Fig. 73 - 20.
(8)
Clean the working area.
(9)
Do an engine ground run.
Refer to Section 71-00-01.

Examine the fuel system for leakage.
