C. Remove the optional Gearbox Oil Cooler
Remove the screws and washers from the
gearbox oil cooler.
Carefully remove the gearbox oil cooler with
the O-Rings from the gearbox.
Remove the O-Rings from the gearbox oil
cooler.
D. Install the optional Gearbox Oil Cooler
Clean the sealing surfaces at the gearbox
where the oil cooler will be installed.
Lubricate the two O-Rings (24.6x2.5) with
rubber grease.
Lubricate the two O-Rings (19.6x2.4) with
engine oil.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 25.
Refer to the Operation Manual
E4.01.01 for approved engine oils.
Put the four O-Rings at the position on the
oil cooler.
Put the oil cooler onto the gearbox.
When using Loctite, make sure that the thread is free of grease.
Apply a thin film of Loctite.
Apply Loctite 243 on the four M6 cylinder
head screws.
Tighten the screws with the washers on the
oil cooler.
Make sure that the hoses for the engine
coolant systems are correctly installed.
Pull the connecting hose over the hose
connector at the gearbox.

Attach a clamp on the connecting hose.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 22 and Fig. 85 -
23.
Tighten the screw of the spring band clamp.
Secure the clamp with lock-wire.
