73-10-02 Fuel Return line
A. Remove the Fuel Return Line

Remove the injector cover.
Refer to Section 85-10-00 Paragraph

Remove the circlip from the injectors.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 14.

Pull down the return line assy.
(4)
Remove the lock-wire from the banjo bolt on
the fitting.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 13.
(5)
Remove the banjo bolt that attaches the
return lines to the fitting.
(6)
Remove the clamps from the rail return line.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 11.
(7)
Pull down the two return lines from the
fitting.
B. Install the Fuel Return Line

Push the return line assy into the injectors.
(2)
Safety the return line with the circlip on each
injector.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 14.
Do not scratch the IQA-Code!
Refer to Fig. 73 - 10.
(3)
Pull the fire sleeve over the return line.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 11.
(4)
Push the return line into the fitting.
(5)
Pull the fire sleeve over the rail return line.
(6)
Install the return line between fuel rail and
fitting.
Safety the return with a new clamp.
(7)
Use heat resistant sealant to cover all fire
sleeve ends.
Refer to Chapter 01 Consumable List.
(8)
Install the banjo bolt that attaches the return
lines to the fitting.
Torque 27 Nm.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 11.
(9)
Safety the banjo bolt on the fitting with lock-
wire.
Use only new sealing rings.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 11.
