Make sure that the O-Rings at the oil pipe are in
the correct position.
Refer to Fig. 79 - 12.
Do not use Loctite on thread with grease!
Apply only a thin layer of Loctite!

Apply Loctite 243 on screws.
(14)
Tighten the oil separator.
Torque 5 Nm.

Install the injector cover.
Refer to Section 85-10-00
Paragraph 3.B.

Clean the working area.

Do an engine ground run.
Refer to Section 71-00-01.

Examine the oil system for leakage.

Remove the by-pass valve from the oil separator.

Clean and examine the thread.

Apply Loctite 243 on the by-pass valve.
(2)
Install the new by-pass valve on the oil
separator.
(3)
Carefully tighten the by-pass valve.
Hand torque.
(4)
Install the oil separator on the injector cover.

Install the injector cover.
Refer to Section 85-10-00
