6. Oil Separator
A. Remove the Oil Separator

Remove the injector cover.
Refer to Section 85-10-00
Paragraph 3.A.

Remove the screws that attach the oil separator
to the injector cover.
Refer to Fig. 79 - 13.
(3)
Remove the oil separator from the injector
cover.
Refer to Fig. 79 - 12.
(4)
Open the steel tape hose clamp.
(5)
Pull down the hose 1.
(6)
Pull down the hose 2.
(7)
Pull down the oil pipe.
(8)
Remove the by-pass valve from the oil separator.
Refer to Paragraph C.
B. Install the Oil Separator

Install the by-pass valve on the oil separator.
Refer to Paragraph D.
Do not install the hose too tight! Refer to Fig. 79 - 11.
(2)
Install the hose 1.
Use the steel tape clamps.
(3)
Lubricate the tube that connects the hose 1.
(4)
Push on the hose 2.
Refer to Fig. 79 - 12.
(5)
Lubricate the tube that connects the hose 2.
(6)
Use only the new O-rings at the oil pipe.
Refer to Fig. 79 - 12.

Lubricate the O-rings with engine oil.
(8)
Push the oil pipe into the oil separator.
(9)
Install the oil separator on the injector cover.
(10)
Push on the tube to the injector cover.
Refer to Fig. 79 - 13.

Push on the oil pipe into the injector cover.
