5. Two-Mass-Flywheel
Install only a hub and a two-mass flywheel approved for your engine
configuration.
If the hub and the two-mass flywheel are marked with serial numbers, the serial
numbers must agree.
If the hub or the two-mass flywheel is unserviceable, always replace the two
components.
Use dry and clean gloves when you work on the two-mass-flywheel.
A. Remove the Two-Mass-Flywheel

Remove the engine starter.

Remove the gearbox.

Disconnect the ground strip of the crankshaft
sensor connectors.
(4)
Disconnect the crankshaft sensor connectors.
(5)
Remove the crankshaft sensors.
Refer to Section 76-10-00 Paragraph

Attach the flywheel locking tool.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 38.

Remove the 8 screws from the hub.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 39.

Remove the hub.
(9)
Remove the 8 screws from the two-mass-
flywheel.

Remove the two-mass-flywheel.
(11)
Remove the flywheel locking tool.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 38.

Examine the hole threads.

Clean the hole threads.
