3. Oil Pressure Sensor
A. Remove the Oil Pressure Sensor

(1)
Disconnect the electrical connector (OPS).
Refer to Fig. 79 - 31.
(2)
Remove the oil pressure sensor.
(3)
Open and remove the oil filter.
Use a clean cloth when you remove the oil pressure sensor.
The oil level sensor can release some oil.
(4)
Discard the sealing ring.
B. Install the Oil Pressure Sensor

Apply Loctite 542 on the thread of the oil
pressure sensor.
Do not use Loctite on thread with grease!
Apply only a thin layer of Loctite!
(2)
Install the oil pressure sensor with a new sealing
ring.
(3)
Tighten the oil pressure sensor.
Torque 20 Nm.
(4)
Connect the electrical connector (OPS).
Refer to Fig. 79 - 31.
(5)
Clean the working area.
(6)
Do an engine ground run.
Refer to Section 71-00-01.
(7)
Examine the oil system for leakage.
