3. Turbocharger
A. Remove the turbocharger

(1)
Remove the exhaust pipe from the turbocharger.
Refer to the Aircraft Maintenance
Manual.
(2)
Remove the charged air tubing from the
turbocharger.
(3)
Disconnect the clamps and remove the air intake
hose from the turbocharger.
(4)
Disconnect the wastegate controller from the
BPA.
(5)
Disconnect the oil supply line from the
turbocharger.
(6)
Disconnect the oil return line from the
turbocharger.
(7)
Remove the screws that connect the
turbocharger to the exhaust manifold.
(8)
Remove the turbocharger from the exhaust
manifold.
B. Install the turbocharger

(1)
Install the turbocharger on the exhaust
manifold.
(2)
Tighten the four screws with spherical and
conical washers and copper nuts of the exhaust
manifold.
Torque 30 Nm.
Refer to Fig. 81 - 6 and Fig. 81 - 7.

Connect the oil return line to the turbocharger.
Refer to Section 79-20-00 Paragraph
9.
(4)
Connect the oil supply line to the turbocharger.
Refer to Section 79-20-00 Paragraph
8.
(5)
Connect the wastegate controller to BPA.
Refer to Paragraph 4.
(6)
Install the air intake hose and the clamps to
the turbocharger.
Refer to the Aircraft Maintenance
Manual.
(7)
Install the charged air tubing to the
turbocharger.
(8)
Install the exhaust pipe to the turbocharger.
