2. Engine Ground Run Instructions
Refer to the applicable Aircraft Flight
Manual (AFM).
Run the engine until it is at the operating
temperature.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft Flight
Manual.
Make sure that the Voter switch is in “ECU A”
position.
Move the power lever quickly to the full-load
position.
The propeller must increase the speed
smoothly and constantly up to 2300
rpm.
The load indicator must show more
than 95%.
Keep the propeller status for 30 sec and then
move the power lever to the idle position
again.
Move the Voter switch to the “ECU B”
position.
Move the power lever o the full-load position.
The propeller must increase the speed
smoothly and constantly up to 2300
rpm.
The load indicator must show more
that 95%.
Keep the propeller status for 30 sec and then
move the power lever to the idle position
again.
Move the Voter switch to the “Auto” position
again.
Cool down for 60 sec in idle to prevent
turbocharger damage.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft Flight
Manual.
Examine the EECU Fault Log for failures.
- If the EECU Fault Log shows failures,
find the root cause and remove it.
Do the engine ground run again, if necessary.
Visually examine the engine for leakage and
chafing.
