B. Install the Gearbox Shaft Seal

Key Items/References
Do not make scratches on the sealing surface of the gearbox housing and
shaft!
(1)
Move the shaft seal with open side to the
housing over the tooling.
Use tool AEP-00132 to move the shaft
seal on the outer diameter of the
shaft.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 84 and Fig. 85 - 85.
(2)
Move the new shaft seal to the correct
position.
Use the tool AEP-00131 and a
hammer.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 86 for the correct
position of the shaft seal.
(3)
Remove all tools from the gearbox.
(4)
Install the retaining ring in the specified
notch.
