(a) Remove the parts attached to the cylinder head

Remove the injector cover.

Remove the oil return line from the oil
separator.

Remove the wiring harness.
Disconnect the related sensors.

Remove the turbocharger oil supply line.
Refer to Section 79-20-00 Paragraph

Remove the sealing ring of the turbocharger oil
supply line.
(6)
Remove the turbocharger oil return line.
Refer to Section 79-20-00 Paragraph

Remove the gasket of the turbocharger oil
return line.
Remove the turbocharger from the exhaust manifold, if necessary.
Refer to the Scheduled Maintenance Table in Section 05-20-00.

Remove the exhaust manifold.

Make sure that no coolant flows into the cylinders.

Drain the coolant.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft

Remove the intake air manifold.

Do not remove the
sensors as specified in

Remove the High Pressure pump (HPP).

Use applicable covers to seal all openings of the high pressure pump.

Remove the fuel rail.
