85-Maintenance Procedures
A. Remove the Cylinder Head
Before the cylinder head replacement, complete a power analysis and collect the
data.
To make sure that the engine operates correctly, compare the collected data before
and after the cylinder head replacement.
Do the following steps before the cylinder head replacement:
 Start cold engine, adjust the temperatures to correct operation conditions (50°C Engine Oil
Temp, 60°C Coolant Temp, 35°C Gearbox Oil Temp)
ï‚· Start Recording with attached LiveView-Config
Make sure that no wind occurs during the Self-test procedure. If you cannot prevent
wind, record the wind conditions (direction, wind strength)
ï‚· Complete the Self-Test
ï‚· Move the Power lever to Max. Continuous Power
ï‚· Record 30s on ECU A, then 30s on ECU B
ï‚· Move the Power lever to Idle and stop LiveView-Recording
ï‚· Collect and keep the data recorded before the cylinder head replacement.
Make sure the working area is clean.
Use clean gloves.
Seal all water-, air-, or fuel lines with applicable covers after disassembly.
Seal the gearbox to prevent any damage during the replacement.
