6. Safety the rotating threaded inserts

Do the procedure only if specified in Paragraph 4.
(1)
Remove the threaded inserts.
Refer to Paragraph 5 for the removal
instructions.
(2)
Clean the new threaded insert and the thread
with organic solvents.
(3)
Pre-treat threaded insert and thread with
Loctite 7649 activator.
(4)
Apply Loctite 232 to the outer thread of the
insert with e.g. a brush.
(5)
Put the insert in the insertion tool.
(6)
Install the threaded insert.
Refer to Paragraph 3 for the
installation instructions.
(7)
Remove all the remaining anti-corrosion agent,
sealant or adhesive.
(8)
Examine the threaded insert for correct
installation.
Refer to Paragraph 4 (after Loctite
curing).
