(e) Assemble the engine after the timing chain check

All engine configurations
(1)
Remove the TCMT.
Turn the TCMT by hand.
(2)
Put the chain tensioner in place at the related
socket in the engine.
Use a new gasket for the chain
tensioner (Part No. E4A-75-600-401).
Refer to Fig. 85 - 141.
(3)
Tighten the chain tensioner.
Torque 80 Nm (708 inch-lbs).
(4)
Make sure that the engine turns freely at the
propeller.
Engine configuration “-B or “-C”
(1)
Tighten the intake air manifold at the engine.
Use a new gasket.
Refer to Section 85-30-00 Paragraph
1.B.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 141.
(2)
Install the coolant expansion tank on the
engine.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft
Maintenance Manual.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 141.
(3)
Install the air tube at the intake air manifold.
(4)
Fill the engine coolant.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft
Maintenance Manual.
(5)
Assemble the engine compartment on the
aircraft.
