Troubleshooting Information
1. General
The table below lists the possible defects of the Starting system. If you have the trouble detailed in
the Trouble column, read across to the Possible Cause column. Then do the repair in the Repair
column.
The starter does not operate
The starter relay is defective.
The starter receives no electric
power.
Refer to Aircraft Maintenance
Manual.
Caution lamp active for GPC
Measure resistance of each
glow plug:
- if resistance is infinitely,
replace the glow plug
Examine the defective glow
plug for:
- any kind of physical
damage
- broken parts
If you find broken parts,
contact Austro Engine GmbH.
Defective water temperature
sensor
Replace the water temperature
sensor.
