2. Water Pump
A. Remove the Water Pump

Drain the coolant.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft
Maintenance Manual.
(2)
Remove the coolant pipe.
(3)
Remove the V-Ribbed belt.
Refer to Section 85-40-00 Paragraph
1.A.
(4)
Remove the four screws from the water
pump.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 158.
(5)
Remove the water pump.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 159.
(6)
Clean the sealing surface.
B. Install the Water Pump

Install a new O-Ring.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 159.
(2)
Install the sealing ring.
(3)
Lubricate the O-Ring and the sealing ring with
engine oil.
(4)
Put the water pump in position on the engine.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 158.
(5)
Make sure the O-Ring and the sealing ring
are correctly installed.
(6)
Tighten the four screws on the water pump.
Torque 20 Nm.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 158.
(7)
Install the coolant pipe.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft
Maintenance Manual.
(8)
Install the V-Ribbed belt.
Refer to Section 85-40-00 Paragraph
1.B.
(9)
Fill and bleed the cooling system.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft
Maintenance Manual.
(10)
Clean the working area.
(11)
Do an engine ground run.
Refer to Section 71-00-01.
(12)
Examine the coolant system for leakage.
