79-20-00 Oil Supply
1. General
This section contains maintenance procedures for the oil supply system.
2. Oil Filter Housing
A. Remove the Oil Filter Housing

(1)
Disconnect the oil pressure sensor from the
engine harness.
(2)
Remove the oil filter.
Refer to Section 79-20-00 Paragraph

Remove the oil filter housing drain line.
Refer to Section 79-20-00 Paragraph
4.A
(4)
Remove the screws that attach the oil filter
housing on the engine with the clamp of the
wiring harness.
Refer to Fig. 79 - 6.
(5)
Remove the washer, nut, and clamp that
attaches the wiring harness.
(6)
Remove the oil filter housing.
B. Install the Oil Filter Housing

(1)
Lubricate the new O-Rings with engine oil.
(2)
Put the O-Rings in the grooves of the oil filter
housing.
Refer to Fig. 79 - 5.
(3)
Carefully install the oil filter housing.
Refer to Fig. 79 - 6.
(4)
Tighten the screws that attach the oil filter
housing to the engine.
Refer to Fig. 79 - 6.
Torque 9 Nm.
(5)
Attach the clamp on the wiring harness.
Refer to Fig. 79 - 6.

Install the stud bolt with the washer, nut, and
clamp that attaches the wiring harness.
Do the step (7) only if the oil pressure sensor was removed before.

Install the oil pressure sensor.
