General gearbox oil information
Oil type:
Shell Spirax GSX 75W-80
Oil volume:
2.3 l
Refer to Section 12-10-00 for gearbox oil level check instructions.
(a) Drain the gearbox oil
Refer to Paragraph E Step (2) to (5) for gearbox oil drain instructions.
(b) Fill the gearbox oil

Install the magnetic drain plug.
Refer to Paragraph F.

Fill the gearbox oil up to the inspection
window.
Approx. 1.8 l
(3)
Do an engine ground run with more than
1800 rpm to fill the A/C gearbox oil system.
(4)
Fill the gearbox oil up to the inspection
window.
For latest Gearbox (rev. 100 and higher) a total quantity of 2.3 l oil is
required.
(5)
Secure the gearbox filler plug with lock-wire.
