D. Install the spur gear from High Pressure Pump
Detail Steps/Work Items
Key Items/References
(1)
Put the spur gear onto the drive shaft of the
high pressure pump.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 18.
(2)
Tighten the hexagon nut.
Examine the fit of the spur gear.
Torque 70 Nm.
Use the counter torque wrench
AE300T-012-1 or AEP-00379-000.
(3)
Examine the sealing ring at the high pressure
pump for damage or poor condition.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 18.
(4)
Install the high pressure pump.
Refer to Step B.
