73-10-03 High Pressure Pump (HPP)
A. Remove the High Pressure Pump (HPP)

When you loosen or tighten hose connections fitted with a twin nipple,
always hold the twin nipple firmly.
(1)
Disconnect the cable plug connection (FPS).
Refer to Fig. 73 - 15.
(2)
Disconnect the cable plug connection (FTS).
(3)
Disconnect the cable plug connection (FMU).
(4)
Disconnect the fuel supply line.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft
Maintenance Manual.
(5)
Remove the lock-wire from the banjo bolt of the
return line.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 16.
(6)
Remove the banjo bolt of the return line.
(7)
Loosen the flare nut of the fuel pipe.
(8)
Remove the banjo bolt with the fuel pressure
sensor.
(9)
Remove the screws that attach the high pressure
pump.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 15.
(10)
Remove the high pressure pump assy.
(11)
Clean the sealing face.
(12)
Make sure that the rubber gasket is completely
removed from the engine.
Refer to Fig. 73 - 17 for the correct
position.
