Move the manifold until you get
access to the chain tensioner.

(b) Timing Chain Measuring Tool (TCMT)
For the timing chain check, do the following steps:

Remove the chain tensioner from the engine.
Make sure that the aluminium seal is installed at the TCMT. Refer to Fig. 85
- 138. If you replace the aluminium seal, make sure that the used seal was
removed before.
No seal, two, or more seals installed on the TCMT can cause measuring
errors.
(2)
Tighten the TCMT into the chain tensioner
socket.
Torque 80 Nm.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 138.

For the timing chain check procedure, obey
the indicator scale on the TCMT.
