Put the second hose clamp on the
connecting hose as near as possible to the
clamp installed before.
Use only new clamps.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 22 and Fig. 85 -
23.

Pull the connecting hose over the hose
connector at the intake manifold.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 22 and Fig. 85 -
23.
It is necessary to pull the connecting hose over the hose connector at the
intake manifold before you move the gearbox to its end position. A later
installation of the connecting hose will not be possible because there will not
be sufficient space.

Install the gearbox.
Refer to Paragraph B.

Do an engine ground run.
Refer to Section 71-00-01.

Examine the gearbox oil system and coolant
system for leakage.
