Remove the engine front lifting eyelet.

Install the starter on the engine.
Refer to Section 80-10-00 Paragraph
2.B.

Connect the pressure line to the governor, if
installed before.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft
Maintenance Manual.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 21.

Connect the electrical connector marked
“GOV” to the governor solenoid.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 21.

Connect the electrical connector marked with
“GBTS” to the gearbox temperature sensor.
(11)
Connect the electrical connector “CTS_GPC”
to the coolant temperature sensor at the
gearbox.
Only for “-A” engine configuration, if
the gearbox is installed with an
optional oil cooler.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 22.

Attach all edge clips for the crankshaft sensor
cable branch.
(13)
Install the magnetic drain plug.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 17 and Fig. 85 - 20.
Refer to Paragraph F.

Fill the gearbox with oil.
Refer to Paragraph K. (b).
(15)
Install the filler plug on the gearbox.
Torque 12 Nm.
Secure with lock-wire.

Install the coolant hoses.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft
Maintenance Manual.

Fill the engine with coolant and bleed the
cooling system.
(18)
Install the propeller.
(19)
Do an engine ground run.
Refer to Section 71-00-01.

Examine the gearbox for leakage.
