Do the same riveting procedure for the
second pin.

Remove the chain closing tool.

Complete a check of the pin head riveting.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 152.

Remove the chain guiding bar.

Clean the surfaces of the shell and camshaft.
(25)
Assemble the bearing surfaces of the
camshaft and bearing shell.
Use fresh oil.

Tighten the screws on the bearing shell
equally.
Tightening torque 12 Nm (106 inch-
lbs)
Turn the engine carefully. If a stop or resistance occurs, turn the engine
back and do the timing setting check again.

Turn the engine two or three times and do a
check of the cam timing setting.
Refer to Paragraph (c).
Turn the engine clockwise (flight
direction).
