85-Maintenance Procedures
Before you turn the engine, remove all materials used as covers for the
chain slot.
Turn the engine carefully. If a stop or resistance occurs, turn the engine
back and do the timing setting check again.
Turn the engine two turns in the clockwise
direction.
Turn the engine to the TDC position.
Complete a check of the timing setting again.
Tighten the three screws on the timing
wheel.
Tightening torque 18 Nm (159 inch-
lbs).
