3. Heat Exchanger
A. Remove the heat exchanger

Remove the oil filter housing drain line.

Remove the oil filter housing.

Remove the five screws from the heat
exchanger.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 162.
(4)
Remove the heat exchanger.
(5)
Clean the sealing surface.
B. Install the heat exchanger

Install a new gasket.
(2)
Put the heat exchanger in position on the
engine.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 162.
(3)
Tighten the five screws on the heat
exchanger.
Torque 9 Nm.
(4)
Install the oil filter housing.
Refer to Section 79-20-00 Paragraph
2.B.
(5)
Install the oil filter housing drain line.
Refer to Section 79-20-00 Paragraph
4.B.
(6)
Clean the working area.
(7)
Do a check of the oil level.
Refer to Section 12-10-00.

Do an engine ground run.
Refer to Section 71-00-01.

Examine the oil and coolant system for
leakage.
