show running-config
Use the show running-config command to display the contents of the
currently running configuration file, including banner configuration.
NOTE: All non-default configurations for the Captive Portal branding images and
encoded Unicode are not displayed via the standard show running-config
command. If desired, you can view this data in the script files or by using the all
mode for the show running-config command. In addition, please note that this non-
readable data is contained and displayed at the end of the script files.
Syntax
show running-config [all | interface interface-id [all] |scriptname]
• all—Display or capture the complete configuration, including settings
equal to the defaults.
• interface-id—An interface identifier (logical or physical). Limits the
display to the specified interface.
• scriptname—If the optional scriptname is provided, the output is
redirected to a script file.
NOTE: If you issue the show running-config command from a serial connection,
access to the switch through remote connections (such as Telnet) is suspended
while the output is being generated and displayed.
Default Configuration
By default, the show running-config command displays non-default values.
Default configuration values are suppressed in the output. Use the all
parameter to display both default and non-default values.
