This procedure is valid, if the PCIe SSD module is controlled by an
onboard controller. For more information, see the Intel VROC user
guide. If VMD function is disabled in BIOS, the PCIe SSD module is not
supported. If VMD function is enabled in BIOS, see the "Intel Virtual
RAID on CPU (Intel VROC) User Guide” for more information.
If the PCIe SSD module is controlled by a RAID controller of the PRAID
EP5x0i family, the PCIe SSD module can be installed during operation
(hot-plug), see "Removing 2.5-inch HDD/SSD modules" on page
168.
