Installing a hot-plug PSU
Customer Replaceable
Unit (CRU)
Hardware: 5 minutes
Tools: Phillips PH1 / (+) No. 1 screw driver (for DC PSU -48 V)
The procedure of installing an AC PSU or a DC PSU differs only in
connecting the power cord.
A second PSU of the same type as the already existing PSU can be
installed while the system is in operation.
When the PSU is plugged in, a CSS error is generated, as an
information, and will be cleared as soon as the power cord is connected.
The system is automatically configured as a system with redundant
power supply.
