Keying and DVE Operation
Placing a Key Layer onto a Background
Then touch the {DVE Allocation...} button, which is towards the bottom of the menu. The
Keyer DVE Allocation” menu will open.
In this menu, you can select which Key has DVE functionality applied. As the example in the
menu shows, DVE-1 has Key 1 selected. Touch {Close} and the DVE parameters are displayed.
Turn the DVE function “On and then use the “Zoom parameter to zoom the Key layer down.
You can now see the background behind the Key layer. Zoom and X/Y position the layer as
required.
The Key buttons toggle On/Off when pressed. With no Key Layer selected the buttons are unlit,
when pressed the button will either light white/blue or tallied red. The Key Layer can now be
seen on the monitor.
Note: White = off air, Red = tallied on air and contributing to the program
output
