Bgnd DVE and Mixer DVE
The default state of functions in this menu are Off, turn “On” the “Program DVE” and the “Preset
DVE” and you will notice that you will still see the program output displayed full size on the
monitor.
Touch the “Position & Size” parameter and “Zoom” down the Program tile and use the “X/Y
Position” to position the tile, you will start to see the Preset tile being revealed. Do the Grass
Valleye for the Preset position & size parameter and as you Zoom down the preset tile the Util
Bus source is displayed as the background. The monitor output will look something like the
diagram below:
As mentioned earlier, the Bgnd DVE would typically be used for “Squeeze Backs” this would be
done by using the “Position & Size parameters to size the Program and Preset Tiles and saving
the setup as a DMEM as explained in the following section.
