Test safeguarding devices as follows:
1. Run the press in INCH mode. Block the light curtain, if any, with an opaque object. The
press should stop immediately.
• If the press stops, go to the next step.
• If the press does not stop, check the wiring and correct any problems. Test again as
indicated in this step. If the press still does not stop, contact Wintriss Tech Support.
2. Run the press in INCH mode. One at a time, keeping hands outside the guarded area,
open any moveable guards just enough to open the interlock switch. In each case the
press should stop immediately.
• If the press stops immediately when you open the guard, go on to the next step.
• If the press does not stop, check the wiring and correct any problems. Test again as
indicated in this step. If the press still does not stop, contact Wintriss Tech Support.
3. Close the guard you just tested, reset the SmartPAC 2 with WPC and repeat the process
in step 2 for each moveable guard. When you have tested all the moveable guards, go on
to the next test.
