Counter Setup Mode
(INITIALIZATION – POSITION SENSOR)
Depending upon how you wired SmartPAC 2, you can disable or enable the counter setup
mode. (See “Wiring Setup Mode Circuit,” page 94.) If you performed this wiring, this
made your SmartPAC 2 "setup-mode-ready.” This means that you can activate (enable) or
deactivate (disable) the setup mode at this screen.
Select "Counter setup mode" and determine the appropriate choice by pressing ENTER to
toggle among items explained below. After you press RESET to exit the screen, your choice
is confirmed.
NOTICE
The strokes counter will increment regardless of the mode that you are in.
"IS INCREMENTED IN ALL MODES"
This means that the batch and parts counters will increment on every stroke whether the press
is in setup mode or not.
"NOT INCREMENTED IN SETUP MODE"
This means that the parts counter and batch counter (when tied to "parts" counter only) will
not increment when the press is in setup mode.
"NOT INCREMENTED IN INCH OR INT. STROKE MODE"
This means that the parts counter and batch counter (when tied to "parts" counter only) will
not increment when the press is in inch mode or “interrupted stroke.”
