MESSAGING
(RUN – MESSAGING)

This choice shows on the menu if you have enabled e-mail in Initialization mode (see page
259). If your SmartPAC 2 is connected to a computer network, you can choose to have it
send e-mail messages.
Before using the e-mail messaging function, you must set up the e-mail recipients and
messages using SmartView remote viewing utility. (See “Appendix D – SmartView,” page
455.)
1. In the main Run menu, select MESSAGING. A screen appears similar to the following,
which lists the recipients you have set up using SmartView.

2. Use the cursor keys to highlight the recipient you want to send a message. Press F3-
“Select Recipient.” The recipient’s name appears next to “To:” at the top of the screen.
You can select more recipients in the same way if you want.

Press F4-“Select Message.” A screen appears similar to the following:
