Figure 6 - 23. Error Log Display
As a troubleshooting aid, your SmartPAC 2 keeps an error/event log that you can view in
Run mode. Each time the press is stopped, the log records the error message, which gives the
reason for the stop, as well as the stroke count and crankshaft angle when the stop occurred.
When you stop the press to load a new tool, the error log shows the tool number. The log
also shows messages sent by SmartPAC 2 if it has network connection and e-mail is enabled.
The log retains this information for the 100 most recent errors or events. If your SmartPAC 2
is connected to a computer network, you can send this error/event log to Wintriss Tech
Support. See “MESSAGING,” next section.
To see the error log, select “Error Log” from the Run menu. The Error Log display appears,
similar to the figure above. Use the cursor keys to scroll through the errors. The full text of
the highlighted error message appears in the blue box at the bottom of the display.
For more information about the error log and a listing of error numbers and what they mean,
see “Using the error log” in Chapter 7.
For HELP press the HELP key located at the center of the cursor (arrow) keys.
