Connecting DiPro Sensor Interface to SmartPAC 2
You can connect your DiPro die protection sensors through the DSI 2 sensor interface. Refer
to the DSI 2 manual for more information. Terminate cable shields to ground studs close to
the point of entry into the enclosure.
• Up to 8 sensors:
For sensors 1-8, follow the wiring instructions in Table 2 - 8 below.
• 9 to 16 sensors:
For sensors 1-8, follow the wiring instructions in Table 2 - 8, below.
For sensors 9-16, follow the wiring instructions in Table 2 - 9, below.
NOTICE
If you have an 8-sensor DiProPAC board, connect sensors 1 – 8 to TB501.
NOTICE
If there are extra wires in the cable, cut off the extras close to the end of the cable jacket.
