4. Connect the wires: For the counterbalance air pressure switch, refer to wiring diagram
Figures 1 or 3 at the end of the manual. Wire the normally open terminals of the switch
between WPC terminal #83 and ground.
NOTICE
If terminal #83 has already been assigned for other user-selected auxiliary equipment, then
wire the counterbalance switch contacts across a terminal on the WPC main processor
board that generates an E-stop when the connection to ground is broken. See “Wiring WPC
User Inputs,” page 52, for more information.
5. Set the counterbalance pressure switch to the pressure recommended by the press
manufacturer, typically equal to the pressure required for the smallest upper die you plan
to use in this press.
