Enter the Diagnostics menu, and then navigate to:
Motor Tests > Booklet Maker Motor Test > Decurl
c Check if the belts, gears, and rollers are properly moving.
Are they properly moving?
Go to step 9. Go to step 8.

a Reseat the cable on the motor.
b Make sure that the motor is properly installed.
c Check the motor and cable for damage, and replace if necessary. See
“Motor (booklet maker decurl) removal” on page 479.
Does the problem remain?
Go to step 9. The problem is solved.

a Make sure that the decurl gears are properly installed.
b Check the gears for wear or damage, and replace if necessary. See
“Booklet maker decurl gears removal” on page 483.

a Make sure that the decurl lever is properly installed.
b Check the lever for wear or damage, and replace if necessary. See
“Booklet maker decurl lever removal” on page 468.

a Reseat the cable J5 on the booklet maker controller board.
b If applicable, reseat the junction connectors on the cable.
c Make sure that the cable does not block the path of moving parts.
d Check the cable for damage, and replace if necessary.

a Reseat the interface cable on the booklet maker controller board and
SHPF controller board.
b Reseat the junction connector on the cable.
c Check the cable for damage, and replace if necessary.
