Several Direct Dialling Plans per communication server / PINX
Several direct dialling plans are available. This ensures that the same user can be
reached from the outside via different network accesses and that the correct CLIP is
also transmitted in outgoing traffic.

Tip:
Use a separate direct dialling plan for each individual network access to the public network (e.g.
for different network providers, point-to-point / point-to-multipoint connections, different line
groups or different direct dialling ranges).
Direct Dialling Plans in the Private Leased-line Network
Direct dialling plans can also be used in the private leased-line network. This is the
case in particular if incoming calls from the private leased-line network are to be routed
depending on the switching position of a switch group (see page 259
).
Linking a Direct Dial Number with a Call Distribution Element
Direct dial numbers are created as blocks with 1 to several numbers. When the num-
ber range is created each direct dial number is automatically linked with a call distribu-
tion element. A call distribution element can also be subsequently allocated to several
numbers.
