(a) Install the connector assembly

Key Items/References
To install the connector, the oil pipe must be disassembled. Therefore,
before the connector installation do the instructions in Paragraph 9.A –
Remove the Turbocharger Oil Return Line
(1)
Put the two new O-Rings in place on the adapter
and grease them with Super-O-Lube or engine
oil.
Refer to Fig. Fig. 79 - 28.
(2)
Install the adapter with the O-Rings.
(3)
Apply Loctite 542 to the thread of the insert.
Tighten the adapter into the cylinder head cover.
Torque 10 Nm.
Refer to Fig. Fig. 79 - 28.
Rotation of the adapter within the adapter fitting is only permitted for
installation purpose.
(4)
Grease the O-Ring of the bypass pipe with Super
O-Lube or engine oil.
Refer to Fig. Fig. 79 - 29.

Push the bypass pipe of the return line into the
adapter.
(6)
Continue with Paragraph 9.B – Install the
Turbocharger Oil Return Line
