D. Install the Water Pump Bearing Housing Assembly
Detail Steps/Work Items
Key Items/References
(1)
Use a new profile gasket.
(2)
Lubricate the profile gasket with engine oil.
(3)
Put the profile gasket in the specified notch of
the water pump bearing housing assembly.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 160.
(4)
Put the water pump bearing housing
assembly in position.
(5)
Make sure the profile gasket is correctly
installed.
(6)
Tighten the five screws on the water pump
bearing housing assembly.
Torque 13 Nm.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 160.
For Water Pump with Part no E4A-61-
000-000:
Torque 9 Nm.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 161.
(7)
Install the belt pulley on the flange of the
water pump bearing housing.
(8)
Tighten the bolts on the belt pulley.
Torque 13 Nm.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 160.
For Water Pump with Part no E4A-61-
000-000:
Torque 10 Nm. Apply Loctite 2701.
Refer to Fig. 85 - 161.

Install the coolant pipe.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft
Maintenance Manual.
(10)
Install the V-Ribbed belt.
Refer to Section 85-40-00 Paragraph
1.B.
(11)
Fill and bleed the cooling system.
Refer to the applicable Aircraft
Maintenance Manual.
(12)
Clean the working area.
(13)
Do an engine ground run.
Refer to Section 71-00-01.
(14)
Examine the coolant system for leakage.
