Remove the slot cover.
CAUTION

Keep the slot cover for future use.

If the expansion card is removed and not replaced with a new one,
the slot cover must be reinstalled due to cooling, to comply with
applicable EMC regulations and to protect against fire.
Installing the expansion card in a riser module

Please read the documentation supplied with the expansion card.

If applicable, install a slot bracket to the expansion card, see "Installing slot
brackets" on page 237.
