Next zoom and position the Preset tile to the required position this will also reveal the Util Bus
background. Again, open the “Shortcuts” menu and save the action as a DMEM, e.g. enter “101”
as the memory file, then select the {Mixer} button below the number pad and then {Save}.
Finally, turn Off the Program DVE and Preset DVE so that the Program source is displayed fully
over the monitor and save that state as a DMEM, e.g. enter “102” as the memory file, then select
the {Mixer} button below the number pad and then {Save}.
Touch the {DMEM} button then in the DMEM menu, select the first saved memory file (100)
and then touch the {Dissolve} button. The “Dissolve Setup” sub menu will be displayed. Touch
the {Override} button then set the Duration, Shape and Profile parameters as required, then
touch the {Apply} button.
Notice that there is an “X” next to the file number in the table, this indicates that Effects
Dissolve has been applied to the memory file.
Follow the Grass Valleye process for the second memory file saved (101).
The final part of this setup is to create macros for all three memory files. Touch the {Macro
Record} button it will turn green ready to start recording. On the next button press the macro
will start recording and the button will turn red.
