Enter the Diagnostics menu, and then navigate to:
Motor Tests > Booklet Maker Motor Test > Center fold guide
b Check if the gears are properly moving.
Are they properly moving?

a Reseat the cable on the motor.
b Make sure that the motor is properly installed.
c Check the motor and cable for damage, and replace if necessary. See
“Motor (bifold guide) removal” on page 486.

a Make sure that the gears connected to the motor (bifold guide) and
bifold rollers are properly installed.
b Check the gears for wear or damage, and replace if necessary. See

a Reseat the cable J9 and J11 on the booklet maker controller board.
b If applicable, reseat the junction connectors on the cable.
c Make sure that the cable does not block the path of moving parts.
