Clear ‘Fan Failure’
Overview: This procedure is used to clear a fan failure condition caused by a tripped
circuit breaker or a defective fan assembly.
1. Is the POWER ON LED lighted on the fan assembly?
If YES, then continue with Step 5.
If NO, then continue with Step 2.
2. Is either circuit breaker, labeled POWER RESET A and POWER RESET B,on
fan assembly tripped?
If YES, then continue with Step 3.
If NO, then continue with Step 9.
NOTE:
If circuit breaker(s) continues to trip after repeated attempts to reset, then
continue with Step 9.
3. Reset the tripped circuit breaker(s).
4. Is the POWER ON LED lighted on the fan assembly?
If YES, then continue with Step 5.
If NO, then continue with Step 9.
5. Is the ALM LED lighted on the fan assembly?
If YES, then continue with Step 9.
If NO, then continue with Step 6.
6. Press and hold in the ALM TST pushbutton switch for 20 seconds (checks the
control board and the LEDs).
7. Release the ALM TST pushbutton switch.
8. Is the ALM LED off (within 20 seconds)?
If YES, then STOP! YOU HAVE COMPLETED THIS PROCEDURE.
If NO, then continue with Step 9.
9. For (E-Bay), remove the fan assembly ED-6G992-30 and replace it with a new
fan assembly (see 365-575-104,
