Administration and Provisioning
Issue 8.0 July 2002
8-137
— "maint": all autonomous messages but REPT DBCHG
— "memry-admin": all REPT DBCHG autonomous messages
— "test": no autonomous messages
— "cmd-resp": no autonomous messages
— "other": all autonomous messages
— "none": if no calling address is specified for SVC
— The Calling Address parameter specifies a 15-digit dial string for the
X.25 switched virtual circuits (SVC #1-#6).
— The Port Access parameter enables or disables access to the
selected port(s).
— The Inactivity Timeout parameter sets the period of minutes during
which no activity results in automatic logout from a port. This
parameter must be between zero (0) and 999 minutes. If zero (0) is
specified, the inactivity timeout mechanism is disabled. The
Inactivity Timeout parameter also applies to any port provisioned for
TL1 input/output.
— The Port (Protocol) Type parameter sets the communications
protocol used at the CIT (DCE) or CIT (DTE) port. If "CIT" is
selected, the F-interface protocol is used to communicate with a PC
running the FT-2000 CIT-PC software. A PC running CPro-2000
software or an ASCII-based (dumb) terminal cannot communicate
with a port provisioned as "CIT." If "TL1" is selected, TL1 protocol is
used to communicate with a PC running CPro-2000 software or an
ASCII-based (dumb) terminal. A PC running the FT-2000 CIT-PC
software cannot communicate with a port provisioned as "TL1."
NOTE:
When logging in to a CIT (DCE) or CIT (DTE) port that is provisioned
as "TL1," enter <Ctrl-Q><cr> before entering the initial ACT-USER
TL1 command. The <Ctrl-Q> ensures that the port is not in the
X/off state and the <cr> clears the input buffer.
— The Baud Rate parameter selects the baud rate used for the CIT
(DCE) or CIT (DTE) port that is configured for TL1 input/output. The
values are "1200, 2400, 4800, or 9600."
For more information about the CIT-PC inputs, refer to Volume I, Section 11,
"Craft Interface Terminal Usage." For more information about the TL1 commands,
