FT-2000 OC-48 Add/Drop-Rings Terminal 8
The following CIT-PC inputs (listed in alphabetical order) and corresponding TL1
commands are used to provision the FT-2000 OC-48 Add/Drop-Rings Terminal.
(Refer to Volume I, Section 6, "Operations Interfaces" or Volume I, Section 10,
"Technical Specifications" for information about minimum CIT requirements.)
â– CONFIGURATION-Set-Attribute-Alarm (TL1 = SET-ATTR-ALM):
This input provisions the incoming Signal Alarm Delay and the Alarm Clear
Delay intervals.
— The Incoming Signal Alarm Delay parameter sets the time (0 to 120
seconds) the network element will wait, after it finds an incoming
signal condition, before reporting the event using all autonomous
indicators. This parameter applies to defects in the OC-48 line
signals, DS3 signals, EC-1 signals, OC-3 signals, OC-12 signals,
and DS1 synchronization references.
— The Alarm Clear Delay parameter sets the time (0 to 120 seconds)
the network element will wait, after a condition clears, before
reporting the clear event using all indicators. This parameter applies
to all conditions.
The TBOS points are not affected by Incoming Signal Alarm Delay or Alarm Clear
Delay parameters.
â– CONFIGURATION-Set-Attribute-Control (TL1 = SET-ATTR-CONT):
This input sets the Descriptions for the miscellaneous discrete control
output points.
— The Point parameter selects the miscellaneous discrete control
output point to provision.
— The Description parameter is the text string associated with the
selected miscellaneous discrete control output point. It is a
character string of up to 26 characters, where the characters are
letters, digits, or spaces. It is used to identify the point in the
Retrieve-History and Retrieve-Alarm (and Status)
reports.
â– CONFIGURATION-Set-Attribute-Environment (TL1 =
SET-ATTR-ENV): This input sets the Descriptions and Alarm Levels for the
miscellaneous discrete environmental input points.
— The Point parameter selects the miscellaneous discrete
environmental input point to provision.
— The Alarm Level parameter provisions the severity of the condition
associated with the closing of the selected miscellaneous discrete
environmental input point. The choices are:
