At the link layer, the FT-2000 OC-48 Lightwave System uses the standard link
access procedure B (LAPB) protocol with the parameters listed in Table 10-21.
The FT-2000 OC-48 Lightwave System uses synchronous, full duplex, continuous
carrier communication. Data rates of 1200, 2400, 4800, 9600, and 19200 are
supported.
